Fonds consists of newsletters and poetry publications from 1971-1979. Most of the publications feature poetry written by Velma Brown, but a number of other authors are also featured, including Sidney M. Parker, known as the blind poet of Truro, Nova Scotia.
Includes conference discussion drafts, Training Programme proposals, newspaper clippings, a form letter for the Training Programme, a resume of W.C. van den Hoonaard, and application forms.

Item is a sixteenth century ola, or palm leaf manuscript. The pages are held together with a cord, silver medallion, and lacquered wood covers painted with line drawings. The manuscript is part of "The Casey A. Wood Medical Collection of Sinhalese Materia Medica" (item number 225).
