File contains two copies of a photograph of the officers, nursing sisters, N.C.Os and men of the No. 7 Stationary Hospital C.E.F., Dalhousie Unit. The photograph shows the soldiers and nursing sisters sitting or standing in four rows with snow on the ground and buildings in the background. Some names are written in pencil on one of the copies.

Photograph of the Oland & Son Limited building

This photograph is the brewery of Oland & Son in the Late 1920's. Located on Agricola St., Halifax, it had an annual production of 250 gallons. The original Oland & Son Brewery was destroyed in the 1917 Halifax Explosion. The brewery was rebuilt by Colonel S.C. Oland on his return from the war, and came into operation in 1925. This photograph was removed from a picture frame and included in the fonds.

Item is a photograph of the original building on the property of the Provincial Farm/School of Agriculture which burned down in 1898. This became the site of the Nova Scotia College of Agriculture, Harlow Institute is now on site. There is an octagonal swine barn that was built by students 1891 and was removed before 1913.

The building is still in use as of 2017 and known as Dalhousie's Clinical Research Centre. It is the location of administrative and academic departments of the Dalhousie Medical School, including the Division of Medical Education, Finance and Administration, Postgraduate Medical Education, and the departments of Bioethics and Community Health and Epidemiology.
