Balcom, regarding events at the Bramshott Camp, Hants., the No. 9 Canadian Stationary Hospital, and the No. 12 Canadian Stationary Hospital, during and shortly after the First World War. Correspondence sent from Major S.G. Chown, Colonel H.M. Robertson, and Lt.-Col. H.E. Randall.
Item is the logbook of the tern schooner Vincent A. White on two voyages: Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, to Glasgow, Scotland, from 26 June-7 November 1923; and Lunenburg to Havana, Cuba, from 14 February -2 April 1924.
File contains three posters encouraging safe-sex as HIV/AIDS prevention; one poster admonishing the Reagan administration, the Centre for Disease Control, and the Vatican for their lack of action in preventing the AIDS epidemic; and one poster featuring the European Parliament's resolution on sexual discrimination in the workplace.
File contains leather community events calendars and schedules covering events in both Nova Scotia, across Canada and the United States, and some European events. Materials include one schedule for the Mr. Atlantic Canada (M.A.C.) Leather 2003 contest weekend, held October 4-6, 2002; one calendar produced by the TightRope brotherhood featuring both TightRope gatherings and other leather community events across Canada, the United States, and Europe from 1994-1995; and two copies of the Hot Boots calendar for 2002-2003.
File contains one copy of the 1987 Gaia's Guide International, which provide a directory to LGBT services in Canada , the United States, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.
File is loosely organized into two sections: Nova Scotia beaver and Norway beaver. Both sections contain correspondence to and from government officials, biologists, academics, and industry consultants regarding research for and publication of Alexander Leighton's study on beaver mental characteristics. The Norway section also contains excerpts from Norwegian newspapers. There is also a set of handwritten notes titled "Outline for study of the Beaver: D. Cross & A.H. Leighton."
File contains photographs of people, buildings, and scenery in Brittany in 1963. Alexander Leighton was possibly there for a sabbatical. A psychiatric study similar to the Stirling County Study had apparently been completed in the region.

Item consists of a facsimile of a letter submitted by A.P. Reid to the July 1857 issue of The Medical Chronicle (Montreal monthly journal of medicine & surgery) (Vol. 5, No. 2), dated May 29th, 1857, discussing life as a medical student in London.
Fonds consists of student tickets and certificates from the University of Edinburgh. Several obituaries from different sources are located in the case file.
File contains a brochure with a brief history of the Dalhousie No. 7 Stationary Hospital, a nominal role of its staff, transcriptions of letters and lists of staff transferred in and out of the hospital.
Item is a letter from Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper to his nephew, Ralph Kane. The letter was sent from La Havre, France, on December 13, 1916, while Tupper was serving overseas.
File contains letters, postcards, greeting cards and photographs sent to Ralph Kane by his uncle, Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper, who served overseas with the Dalhousie No. 7 Stationary Hospital during World War One.
Collection consists of a booklet about the history of the No. 7 Stationary Hospital, correspondence of nursing matron Laura Hubley, a book of signatures of the unit's members, and correspondence and a small album containing postcards sent by Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper (who worked with the unit in 1916 and 1917) to his nephew, Ralph Kane.

Item is a Christmas and New Year greeting card from Lt. Col. John Stewart. The card was printed by the Dalhousie No. 7 Stationary Hospital while it was stationed in France. The card is printed in gold and black ink and features the Dalhousie crest.
File contains three postcard portrait photographs of Oscar Donovan and an unidentified officer, both wearing Canadian Army Medical Corps uniform. The postcards are printed in France.
