Collection comprises legal business correspondence, a book of legal judgment abstracts, indentures documenting Lunenburg County land sales, and papers regarding claims upon the wreck of two schooners.
Fonds consists of records relating to Renton's personal life as well as his acting and teaching careers. The personal papers include files on specific actors, athletics, clippings and publications, festivals and workshops, financial records, Portus Theatre Productions (the production company he founded), school-related theatrical education materials, committee work, unions, associations, and a variety of other subjects. Correspondence includes letters to, from, and about Renton and are primarily theatre-related. The scripts were accumulated by Renton throughout his career as an actor, director, and producer. The fonds also includes photographs and slides of numerous theatrical productions.
Fonds consists of documents created and collected by Eyelevel Gallery that reflect all aspects of the gallery’s management. The fonds includes artist files, slides, administrative files, publicity files (including press releases), correspondence, publications, financial documents, contracts, minutes of board of directors meetings, photographs, fundraising files and membership lists, audio and videocassettes, CDs, DVDs, books, and programmes, catalogues, posters, reviews, guest books, and miscellaneous files regarding exhibitions and events. Some digital records in this collection have been migrated from CD's.
File contains royalty reports, draft agreements with handwritten annotations, and correspondence. The documents relate to Joyce Barkhouse's books Pit Pony, Saga of the Dark One, George Dawson: The Little Giant, and A Name for Himself: A Biography of Thomas Head Raddall.
Fonds consists of manuscripts and proofs of Budge Wilson's books and short stories; correspondence with publishers, students, and teachers; publicity material; photocopies and clippings of reviews, profiles, and notices regarding awards and appearances; diaries; recorded radio interviews; and an assortment of other documents created and collected by the author throughout her writing career. The fonds also contains materials relating to the adaptation of Wilson's novel "Before Green Gables" into a Japanese animated television series.
File includes correspondence, licensing and royalty information, a draft of the book with illustrations, a published copy of the book, and the publishing agreement with Lorimer for the children's book Anna's Pet by Joyce Barkhouse and Margaret Atwood. The file also has two photographs from a puppet adaptation of Anna's Pets by Mermaid Theatre, directed by Fred Thury and designed by Tom Miller. Two other stories by Margaret Atwood, "Flying Rabbits and their Ancestors" and "Silent Sam and the Singing Sausage from Saturn" are also included.
File contains a copy of Budge Wilson's short story "The Dandelion Garden : A Modern Fable for Elderly Children," as it appeared in the "Integrated Language Arts Anthology" (1995) for Grade 6 students, and two copies of the Permissions Request form from ScottForesman to Budge Wilson for the non-exclusive reprint rights to this short story (originally published in her anthology "The Dandelion Garden and Other Stories").
Fonds includes a membership dues ledger created by Pioneer Lodge No.1; a contract between the Canada Coal and Railroad Company Ltd and its employees; and receipts from members.
Fonds includes financial, legal, administrative and human resources materials dating from the local's founding in 1955, providing insight into the development of the organization's policies and procedures, and also illustrating the broader labour movement and role of unions in shaping the political and social landscape in Nova Scotia. The records provide evidence of the union's administrative and operational functions and activities, including contract negotiation, grievance administration, dues remittance, pension fund administration, membership and labour advocacy, workers' training and education and strike coordination. The records were created by the local's office staff, business managers, executive board, elected officials, Board of Trustees, membership and business associates. Earlier records (pre-1955) became part of the IBEW Local 1928 archive when other IBEW Locals were amalgamated with 1928.

File contains four business letters written to and from the Bill Lynch Shows from August 19, 1942 to July 16, 1947. The first is from the Bill Lynch Shows regarding a wallet lost on August 18, 1942 by Elmer Rogers and subsequently found, and is dated August 19, 1942. The second is from the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company regarding reconditioning a Caliola organ, and is dated October 6, 1942. The third is from the Annapolis County Exhibition Committee signed by Donald White regarding the Bill Lynch Shows returning from September 14-17, 1943, and is dated June 11, 1943. The fourth is from Teasdale and Foot, Limited and signed by Eric Teasdale regarding purchasing a car and multiple trucks for the Bill Lynch Shows, dated July 16, 1947.

The documents include a designing artists contracts from the Associated Designers of Canada, contracts from Stephenville Festival of the Arts, a lease from Regina from 1971, a lease from Granville Ferry from 1972, mortgage documents from Marian Pryor House Heritage Limited, a waiver between Doyle and a model named Joanna Haney, the Memorandum and Articles of Association for Weaver's Loft Limited, Weaver's Loft meeting minutes and other documents, Weaver's Loft share certificates and lists of shareholders, and certificates of incorporation and registration for Weaver's Loft Limited.
File contains the contract for the extension construction on Cumming Hall, the administration and classroom building on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus to be completed on or by November 24, 1912. The contract describes the work to be done, and the materials to be used in the additions and alterations to Agricultural College from the drawings and superintendence of Andrew R. Cobb, Architect, Halifax, N.S. “Set no. 5”.
File contains the contract for the construction of the headhouse to greenhouse at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College between W.K. Murray (contractor) and Department of Public Works including modifications to specifications. The contract is dated November 5, 1913. Signed by "? Cobb" Architect; "E. H. Armstrong" Commissioner for Public Works and Mines; and "W.K. Murray" contractor.

File contains two indentures evidencing the sale of lands in Pictou County. The first indenture (dated 1875) records a land sale from Robert Moran to John Ives Meagher. The second indenture (dated 1876) records a sale from Alexander and Sarah A. McKenzie to John Ives Meagher.

Fonds contains records of the Dalhousie Faculty Association, including administrative correspondence from the DFA's formative years and records documenting the negotiation of their first contract in 1978. There is also an incomplete series of DFA newsletters and committee records.
File contains five copies of Lynch Greater Exposition Shows contract forms. The stipulations include supplying a show suitable for ladies and children, the right to cancel the contract in the occurrence of unforeseen circumstances such as cyclones or war, and a space to set out the required number of performances per week. It specifies that the contract is for Canada only, but that the salary will be paid half in American and half in Canadian dollars.
