Animal farm : [program]

Item consists of a program created by Dalhousie Theatre Productions for the 1997 season production of George Orwell's Animal Farm. The production was directed by Patrick Christopher and features a cast and crew of Dalhousie University students. The program contains a list of the cast and crew, DTDP patrons, essays on the main themes of the play, and a director's note. The program contains a loose sheet of paper with a special effects attention notice and sponsor acknowledgement.

April 13 movement betrayed

Item consists of an update and an announcement in response to the betrayal by the President's office of the agreement made during April 13th movement, after the occupation of President Henry Hicks's office by members of the DNDY (Dalhousie New Democratic Youth) in protest against the Senate's adoption of the George Report, which contained procedures for the appointment of presidents, vice-presidents, deans, and associate deans.

Breaking barriers : report of the task force on access for Black and Native People

File contains a report presented to Howard C. Clark. The report led to the formation of the Indigenous Blacks & Mi'kmaq (IB&M) Initiative at the Schulich School of Law in 1989. The initiative was launched to increase representation of Indigenous Blacks and Mi'kmaq in the legal profession in order to reduce discrimination.
