File consists of records related to the Montreal Museum lends II exhibition: 19th and 20th century paintings. The National Gallery of Canada organized and circulated the exhibition, and it was shown at Dalhousie Art Gallery from February 18 to March 30, 1975.
Records consist of condition reports, packing instructions, newspaper clippings, a floor plan, correspondence between the National Gallery of Canada and Dalhousie Art Gallery, loan agreements, and photographs of paintings including "Autumn On The Banks Of The Oise" by Alfred Sisley, "Lamp and Cherries" by Pablo Picasso, and "Neapolitan Girl's Head" by Pierre-Auguste.

In addition records include a tour schedule, historical background to the collection of models in the exhibition, media release, exhibition invitation list, newspaper clippings, and a floor plan designed by Golden Miller at the Vancouver centennial museum in November 1972. Records also contain a copy of an Impetus magazine, published in April 1973, and photographic prints of the three terracotta models of the right hand, torso, lower back and left thigh.
