Administrative history
Dalhousie-King's Faculty Teas were social events for women organized by faculty members' wives and female staff. Their primary function was to welcome new "faculty wives" and female staff to the universities. Teas were held four times during the academic year and usually took place at Shirreff Hall or at the Dalhousie president’s home. Small standing committees organized the teas and managed the finances; the association is known to have been active between 1938-1950.
