File contains two letters from Daniel O'Connell, the secretary of the Halifax Musicians' Protective Association (American Federation of Musicians, Local 470). The letters concern Logan's invitation and acceptance into the association.
Series contains records of dues deductions for employees that were part of the IBEW Local 1928 union. Series also contains records from associated IBEW Locals, including IBEW Local 1089 (Sydney, Nova Scotia) and IBEW Local 1165 (Windsor, Nova Scotia).
Fonds contains material collected by Ken Clare relating to his interest in Nova Scotia Unions. Material includes photographs of the Halifax Lab Tech Strike in 1975; material relating to the Dalhousie Cleaners strike in the winter of 1978-1979; material from the Nova Scotia Labour Research and Support Centre; and material relating to the attempts to organize the workers at the Michelin plant at Granton by the United Rubber workers.

This was a union support group located mainly in Halifax, which included several students, faculty and alumni of Dalhousie.
