John and Joice Hall

File consists of records related to a joint exhibition of artworks by John and Joice Hall, titled John Hall: Paintings, and Joice Hall: Celebration Landscapes. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery from July 5-31, 1976.

Records consist of correspondence, a news release, a list of artworks, financial statement for exhibition expenses and interdepartmental memos, a floor plan, loan agreements, and clippings. Records also include photographic prints of paintings.

Item, a photograph, is a duplicate of MS-2-202, Box 51, Folder 15, Item 6 in subseries Thomas Head Raddall's loose photographs. A duplicate copy can be found in MS-2-202, Box 51, Folder 15. The photograph was taken outside of Raddall, Sr.'s uncle Frank's shop in East Dulwich while Raddall, Sr. was on holiday. Frank is second from the left.

Item consists of a facsimile draft manuscript outlining the history of the Solsearch Architects and New Alchemy Institute Ark project in Spry Point, Prince Edward Island, likely written in late 1976, discussing solar energy and food production at the facility.

Existing electrical arrangement of Bluenose IInd 32 volt D.C. & 115 volt A.C.

Item is a technical drawing of the existing electrical arrangement of the Bluenose II. The drawing was prepared on July 19th, 1965 for the Halifax Shipyards as is labelled "Sketch No H.S.L.-BL/EL-2." The sketch is overlaid with proposals for expansions or changes to the arrangement, which are printed in red.
