The file also contains the draft minutes of the Fifteenth Session of the Planning Council (held April 22, 1978 in Divonne-les-Baines), providing a summary of the UNCLoS talks (including the Compostite Text, the Group of 77, and the need for a seabed authority), projects, Pacem in Maribus IX, a new International Ocean Institute (IOI) director, the status of the IOI in Malta, and the Castellabate Project. The file also contains speeches, correspondence , and a list of the Board of Trustees members.

Includes the Boat Paper, which was a controversial paper, to which the nonpaper (which the International Ocean Institute (IOI) was involved in writing) was a response. File also includes a report from the Secretary-General's informal consultations on the topic.
File contains pages from a booklet of the inventory and plans for the Alexander Keith's Brewery building. The facilities refered to in this booklet are located on Lower Water Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia and are owned by Oland & Son Limited. The booklet was prepared by Hancock Little Calvert Associates. The booklet contains a letter from P. J. Smith; information about plans contained in the booklet; inventory and availability of space; other information about the building; and a map of the Halifax peninsula indicating the location of the building. Plans originally included in the booklet are located in MS-4-135, Oversized Folder 13.
File contains set and light designs for Neptune Theatre's production of "Brass Rubbings," directed by Tom Kerr and designed by Mark Buntrock. File contains Buntrock's original drawings, an annotated copy of page 5, and a copy of Bonnie Beecher's light design.
File contains a report presented to H.C. Clark. The report led to the formation of the Indigenous Blacks & Mi'kmaq (IB&M) Initiative at the Schulich School of Law in 1989. The initiative was launched to increase representation of Indigenous Blacks and Mi'kmaq in the legal profession in order to reduce discrimination.
File contains a newspaper clipping and letters to Edith J. Archibald concerning her song "Britain Calls," which was written for the Royal Canadian Regiment during World War One. The newspaper clipping includes the text, but not the music, of the song. The letters are from G.A. LeCain, Lieutenant-Colonel of the Commanding 25th Battalion; George Murray, Provincial Secretary; and Evelyn Starr, professional violinist of New York City. An inscription by Edith J. Archibald at the top of the letters reads, "This song, dedicated to the Royal Canadian Regt. has made their 'marchpost' and I am told by an officer of that Regt. that is was played and sung daily during the war. He himself said it had keeped [sic] the men when on the tramp, 'over many a weary mile.'"
File contains set designs for Neptune Theatre's production of "Broadway Bound," directed by David Brown and designed by Stephen Osler. The file includes some of Osler's original transparencies and annotated copies of the plans.
File contains a flyer and questionnaire regarding the computer software "Database of Marine Education in Canada," produced by the International Centre for Ocean Development. Includes a brief brief description of the software, requirements for its use, and a questionnaire about the database.
File contains an informational and promotional brochure for the Independent World Commission on the Oceans (IWCO). Includes reproductions of children's drawings of the ocean. Brochure also contains background information (in French) on the Commission and it's membership, and on the second plenary session to be held in Rio de Janerio (July 1996).
File contains a brochure advertising the International Centre for Ocean Development, outlining its history, mandate, objectives, and staff. The brochure was an early publication of the Centre, and contains both English and French translations of the text.
File includes draft and mock-up versions of ICOD brochures, such as "Building Partnerships in Ocean Development" and "The Oceans: New Opportunities and Responsibilities." Some include handwritten annotations/corrections by Elisabeth Mann Borgese.
