Agreement between The Governors of Dalhousie College and University, and Her Majesty the Queen in RIght of Canada, regarding loaning of Labrador duck specimens to the National Museum of Canada

Item consists of a signed agreement -- dated April 16, 1968 -- between the Dalhousie Board of Governors and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada (via the Department of the Secretary of State, which oversees the National Museum of Canada) regarding the loaning and preservation of Labrador duck specimens from the Thomas McCulloch Museum to the National Museum of Canada.

An appeal to the heads of the Maritime colleges

Item is a manuscript copy of an appeal made to the heads of the Maritime colleges to pay heed to the 1921 Learned-Sills Report, which called for a merger of Maritime universities at Halifax. A handwritten note on the first page indicates that the appeal "resulted in unanimous support of [sending?] an appeal to local governments [and] Med/Dental schools."

Anil elephant drops dead : [newspaper article]

Item is a clipping of a newspaper article by an unidentified author titled "Anil Elephant Drops Dead." The article is about the death of Balakrishnan, an elephant brought to East River, Nova Scotia by the Anil Canada Ltd. hardboard plant.

Animal farm : [program]

Item consists of a program created by Dalhousie Theatre Productions for the 1997 season production of George Orwell's Animal Farm. The production was directed by Patrick Christopher and features a cast and crew of Dalhousie University students. The program contains a list of the cast and crew, DTDP patrons, essays on the main themes of the play, and a director's note. The program contains a loose sheet of paper with a special effects attention notice and sponsor acknowledgement.

Anniversaries in Geneva, 1959

Item consists of an offprint from the Summer 1959 issue of the Dalhousie Review (pages [208]-218), containing the text of an address delivered by President Alexander Enoch Kerr about the the recent celebration of three different anniversaries related to the life and activities of John Calvin in Geneva, Switzerland in the sixteenth century.
