The above is / the new Million Dollar Fireproof Hospital to be erected in / Halifax in 1931 by the Sisters of Charity, which when / finished will be one of the most modern and best / equipped hospitals on the continent... The hospital will / be erected on Queen Street and S.P. Collection consists of a booklet about the history of the No. 7 Stationary Hospital, correspondence of nursing matron Laura Hubley, a book of signatures of the unit's members, and correspondence and a small album containing postcards sent by Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper (who worked with the unit in 1916 and 1917) to his nephew, Ralph Kane.

File contains copies of letters of reference for former railway dining car workers who enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, served in the First World War with the (Dalhousie) No. 7 Canadian Stationary Hospital. The correspondence contained herein discusses disagreements over the promises of wages granted to enlisted men from railway companies as a result of two different circulars being signed in relatively short order.

Balcom, regarding events at the Bramshott Camp, Hants., the No. 9 Canadian Stationary Hospital, and the No. 12 Canadian Stationary Hospital, during and shortly after the First World War. Correspondence sent from Major S.G. Chown, Colonel H.M. Robertson, and Lt.-Col. H.E. Randall.
