Prince Edward Island Ark

File contains manuscripts, reports, and clippings collected by the Ecology Action Centre, related to the Solsearch Architects the New Alchemy Institute Ark project, constructed and operated in the late 1970s in Spry Point, Prince Edward Island, testing organic agricultural and environmental monitoring techniques.

Pop artists exhibition

File consists of records related to the exhibition '11 Pop artists: The New Image' organized by the Confederation Art Gallery for the Atlantic Provinces art Circuit (APAC), and sponsored by Benson & Hedges (Canada) Ltd. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery in December 1968.

Records consist of an exhibition statement written by Antonio Toledo (Executive Vice-President, Benson & Hedges), a list of artworks, correspondence between Evelyn Holmes (Acting Curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and curators of APAC member galleries, and a condition report.

Plasket[t] pastels

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'Plaskett', a collection of pastel drawings by Joseph Plaskett organized by the Art Center of the University of New Brunswick for the Atlantic Provinces Art Circuit (APAC). The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery in May 1970.

Records consist of two condition reports and an accompanying drawing depicting areas of damage, and correspondence between Evelyn Holmes (Acting Curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and curators of other APAC member galleries .

On the water's edge

File consists of records relating to the exhibition 'On the water's edge', consisting of facsimiles of 17th and 18th century Dutch drawings from the collection of the Teylers Museum, Haarlem. The exhibition was presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery in April 1971.

Records consist mainly of correspondence between Ernest Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and staff of the Royal Netherlands Embassy, whom the exhibition was circulated through. One additional record consists of a paper outlining the historical background of the Teylers Museum and the collection of drawings.

Nova Scotia tourism, culture and heritage grants to individuals application and related materials

File contains an application for Nova Scotia tourism, culture and heritage grants for Banks to travel to Barcelona in November 2012 to attend Connexio Canadenca and participate in rehearsals of Catherine Bank's play "It is Solved by Walking." The document includes project descriptions (adaptation of The Mountain and the Valley for the stage), budgets, support materials, reports, and a grant acceptance letter from Arts Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia stroke strategy implementation

File contains the first draft of the Cardiovascular Health Nova Scotia stroke strategy operational plan. File also contains correspondence, briefing notes, notes of operational plan management meetings, and a July 2007 overview of rehabilitation services in Nova Scotia prepared by Corinne Corning, Stroke Consultant for Cardiovascular Health Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia Integrated Stroke Strategy presentation to District Health Authorities

File contains a presentation titled Setting the Context : Stroke Care in Nova Scotia. The presentation was given by the Nova Scotia Integrated Stroke Strategy Committee to District Health Authorities during a consultation process that took place between June and September 2003. File includes correspondence, planning documents, and other material related to the consultation. File also contains a March 2002 committee report on re-organizing stroke care in Nova Scotia. The report was published by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
