Pride and prejudice : [program]

Item consists of a program created by Dalhousie Theatre Productions for the 2004-2005 season production of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. The production was directed by Susan Stackhouse and features a cast and crew of Dalhousie University students. The program contains a list of the cast and crew, DTDP patrons, essays on the main themes of the play, and a director's note.

The press kits contain programs, tour dates, press releases, photocopies of newspaper articles, information about Mulgrave Road, and other information about the production and tour. The file also includes posters from public readings of "Battle Fatigue" (formerly titled "A Woman's War") at Gallery Connexion in Fredericton, New Brunswick and at the Mulgrave Road Co-op Theatre building.

Port Hawkesbury centennial project authors' original manuscripts

File contains copies of the authors' original manuscripts for the play produced by Under the Map theatre group, a Port Hawkesbury centennial community project. The group performed plays depicting the town's history on four consecutive nights in August 1989 using Granville Street as the setting.

Pilk's Madhouse / Ken Campbell

Item is a copy of the script Pilk's Madhouse written by Ken Campbell under the pseudonym Henry Pilk. The play is a series of sketches which were first performed at Theatre Passe Muraille in Toronto and subsequently at the Young Vic in London, England.

Fonds contains correspondence, production records, scripts, flyers, posters, programs, promotional materials, press reviews, financial records, organizational management, documents regarding the theatre building and property, workshop programming, as well as touring production records. There is extensive correspondence regarding script acquisition and production; some correspondents included Canadian and Haligonian playwrights. Many scripts contain annotations by directors and actors. Set drawings, lighting cues, props lists and theatre renovation plans are also part of this fonds.

Unprocessed materials from the fonds not included here amount to approximately 94 cm. Please consult the Archives staff for access.
