Collection contains graphic materials of the students, staff, and faculty of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. There are also photographs of the campus landscape and buildings and also the School of Agriculture or the College of Agriculture as it was originally known. Subseries' include aerial views, animals, buildings, campus events, students, staff, faculty and principals of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College between 1885-2015, as materials may be associated with the Provincial farm or School of Agriculture (pre-1905).

Rodin and his contemporaries exhibition

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'Rodin and His Contemporaries', sponsored by Rothmans of Pall Mall Canada. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery from March 15 to April 9, 1972.

Records consist of handwritten condition notes, a condition report, a biographical essay of Rodin, biographies of artists working during the same time period as Rodin, correspondence of the Dalhousie Art Gallery, documents related to the opening event (March 14) and two photographs of Henry D. Hicks (President, Dalhousie University) and unidentified colleagues.

The Rothmans collection of Christmas ornaments

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'The Rothman's Collection of Christmas Ornaments' organized by the Art Gallery of Ontario and presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery in January 1969.

Records consist of an information bulletin released by Rothmans of Pall Mall Canada Limited, a condition report, a guest list, and correspondence between Evelyn Holmes (Acting Curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and Rothmans representatives, and a photograph of the artwork display. The condition report is accompanied by an attached copy of the exhibition catalogue with notes regarding the condition of each sculpture.

Accession includes the minute book from the founding year of 1942 until 1955, collective agreements between the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers' International Union and S. Cunard & Co. Ltd, E.S.F. Ltd, and Archibald Fuels Ltd. Also included in this fonds are photographs of picket lines, and floats, as well as local publications issued by the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers' International Union Local 9-825 to all of its current members. The fonds also includes sample meeting posters for the union meetings, a membership request slip for Local 546, and a document from the Hon. Clarence Llyod Gosse to John Yates regarding his membership to the Provincial Apprenticeship Board.

Publicity photographs of Ellen Ballon

File contains publicity photographs of Ellen Ballon. Most are portraits, but some feature her playing the piano, participating in World War II support activities, at ceremonies, at concerts, and at receptions. Most of the photographs are undated but seem to span the entirety of her adult life. The last photograph in the album is of Ballon receiving her honorary doctorate from McGill University in 1954.
