File consists of two photographs of the group "The Townsman", who played at the reception after the launching of the Bluenose II in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The group included Michael Stanbury, shown in the photograph with the guitar; he is the son of Amadita and grandson of Col. Sidney Oland.
The building was originally the Simeon Jones Brewery and it was bought by George Oland in 1917; the building was demolished in 1964 when the new Saint John Brewery was built.
File contains photographs of staff, street scenes, line crews at work, Prince Edward Island highway trucks, Charlottetown petroleum products truck and dinner events. Photographs came from a folder marked 'I.T.C.'

File contains an envelope address to The Bill Lynch Shows from Ethel (no last name specified) dated in Amherst November 18, 1942, and Halifax November 20-30, a blank labor service card with notes on the back, a card requesting name and address on the front of letters and parcels, a letter from Ethel to Bill Lynch dated July 25, 1942 from Amherst, and six photographs of: an unidentified woman in Sydney on July 16 1942, an unidentified woman at Murcer [sic] Lake in Sydney on July 13, 1942, an unidentified man in a parked car, a dog, two unidentified men on a ship plank over the war, three unidentified men in uniform and a dog by a Christmas tree, and three unidentified men, two in uniform and one in a suit, outside. Ethel's letter states she would try to enclose photographs of herself, so she may be the unidentified woman in the photos.
File contains five photographs of the Privateers (musical group) getting off an airplane in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The plane returned from Osaka, Japan.
File contains 74 photographic negatives of the Technical University of Nova Scotia's convocation ceremony held at the Halifax Metro Center on May 10, 1982.
During their visit, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip had tea with the Prowses on their farm near Brackley. The Prowses, an average Island family, won a Rural Beautification award for improvements on their property. The royal couple also toured the Sherwood frozen food plant and attended a record-breaking heat of harness racing at the race track. File contains an autographed photograph of the Canadian violinist, teacher, conductor, and composer Frank Edward Blachford (1879-1957) addressed to Dr. J.D. Logan in appreciation of his writing on music in Toronto.
File contains a photograph of Harry Dean, a Canadian conductor, pianist, organist, and music educator. He is known for founding the Maritime Academy of Music and the Nova Scotia Registered Music Teachers' Association in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
File contains an autographed photograph of the Montreal-born opera singer Louise Edvina Edwardes (nee Martin), known by her stage name "Madame Edvina." File also contains a print of Louise Edvina in costume from the opera "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini. Logan's notes on the reverse side of the print and at the bottom of the photograph indicate that she was known for her creation of the title role of Louise in an opera by Gustave Charpentier.
