Ruth Goodman's Dalhousie University graduation scrapbook

File contains a scrapbook assembled by Ruth Marilyn (Goodman) Pink commemorating events from her graduation from Dalhousie University and a few years after. The scrapbook contains programs from Dalhousie Glee Club and other musical performances; a 1936 Dalhousie convocation program; congratulatory telegrams and greeting cards sent to Goodman; remnants of dried flowers; dance cards; place cards with attached pencils; menus; a Valentine card and other greeting cards. There are also photographs of Ruth Goodman; Rose Goodman; Jeanette Goodman; members of the Class of 1936; unidentified family and friends; White Point Beach; the Annapolis Valley; Pictou Lodge; and Sydney. A copy of Alice Simensky's obituary (1918-2015) is tucked into the back of the scrapbook.

MicMac woman struggles to maintain voice and truth : [newspaper clipping]

Item is a clipping of an article by Patricia Doyle about being a Mi'kmaw woman in the education system. The article appeared on page 7 of the January 1991 issue of "Pandora." An Eye Level Gallery advertisement for the exhibition "I loved the piece with the large type on the grass" and an advertisement for Swaha! Bodywork also appear on the page.

Raddall, Sr. can be found holding the telescope in the middle of the front row in the portrait of the rifle division. On the reverse side of the scrapbook page, the photographs on the left and right of Thomas Head Raddall are duplicates from the aforementioned album. The photograph on the left was taken in North Sydney in 1920, and the photograph on the right was taken in Point Pleasant Park in 1921. The photograph in the bottom middle may have been taken at Sable Island.
