In the summer of 1921, the Fabia was financed by the Boston Post to raise the schooner Esperanto in order to defend the latter's title to the Herald Cup. The efforts to put the schooner back into service ultimately failed.

The photograph in the bottom middle may have been taken at Sable Island.
