In particular there are papers concerning an ongoing controversy between Baylis and CIHR regarding an alleged violation of the CIHR stem cell guidelines. The play premiered with HomeFirst Theatre at the Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax in October 24-November 4, 2018. Some Blow Flutes was nominated for Outstanding New Play by a Nova Scotian at the 2019 Merritt Awards.
