This sub-series contains records that were created and used in the partnership project with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (Columbia) in the development of a Training Program in Sustainable Agriculture at UFPS both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program ran between 1997 and 2002. The Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (UFPS) has been asked to play a key role in “El Salto Social”, the social leap forward, in the Santander region of Colombia. New curricula will be introduced at UFPS, faculty will be upgraded and new extension and outreach programs established with the assistance of NSAC through this project. Other project partners are the Universidad de la Republica Uruguay (URU) of Uruguay and Saint Mary’s University (SMU). This is an Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) University Program for Cooperation in Development (UPCD) Tier 2 project led by NSAC. This sub-series contains textual records, which includes correspondences, brochures, flyers, sales records, and programs, relating to sheep fairs of the Sheep Producers' Association of Nova Scotia. These were published between 1973-1983.
Subseries contains autographs of musicians, some of which are on concert programs. These concert programs also frequently contain annotations by J.D. Logan about the music performed. Most of the autographs would have been obtained from the musician directly by John Daniel Logan, with the exception of the autograph of the American pianist and composer Louis Morceau Gottschalk (1829-1869) and that of the French operatic soprano Marie Rôze Mapleson (1846-1926).
