File contains correspondence regarding the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary in 2005. There are letters written to the NSAC by Sharon McLean, Commissioner of the Village of Bible Hill, Chris d'Entremont, Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, R.J. (Dick/Richard) Huggard, Class of 1956, Chair of the NSAC Foundation, Ton Traves, President and Co-Chancellor of Dalhousie University, and the NSAC Students' Union. Also included was a template of Canada Posts invitation to a new stamp unveiling.

Records related to the launch of the commemorative postage stamp for The Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary

File contains invitations both from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (3 copies) and from Canada Post to the launch of the Commemorative stamp for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary February 14, 2006. The event was held at the Alumni Theatre in Cumming Hall at 10 am. Dr, Garth Coffin, past principal was the Master of ceremonies and current president T. Philip Hicks unveiled the stamp along with The Honourable Robert Thibault and Mr. Wayne Quinn, Regional General Manager - Atlantic Canada Post. Also included in the file are two Official first day overs compliments of Canada Post Corporation, they feature the stamp issued.

Records related to the finale event to celebrate the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary

File contains ephemera from the finale event for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary held February 14, 2006. The event was held at the upper foyer in Cumming Hall at 2 pm.

Included are invitations and a booklet for the event.

Dr. Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC was to do the welcome, the presentation of the time capsule was done by Dean Emeritus Dale Ells, Mary McPhee, President NSAC Students' Union, and Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC. Presenting the NSAC centennial CD - A Family Portrait was Jim Goit, Executive Director of Development and External relations.

There are 5 greeting cards that feature black and white photographs, each of a different landmark on campus. They are blank inside with a written description and "NSAC celebrates 100 years and growing in 2005": They are:
1. NSAC Cox Institute - a close up of the stone sign and word Institute with spring/summer floral landscaping in front.
2. West-facing stacked windows, MacRae Library
3. Water fountain, bird bath, in memory of Harold and Dorothy McKean, Alumni Gardens

The file also contains a copy of a newspaper clipping with the Fall graduates, a copy of the convocation program, and Brenda Putnam's introductory speech for Wilson.

Fonds contains Dr. Herbert MacRae’s obituary and tribute articles dedicated to the former Nova Scotia Agricultural College principal. Additionally, the fonds contains a plaque naming the NSAC library in his honour in 1990, and correspondence between Herbert F. MacRae and Layman T. Chapman from 1974.

Nova Scotia Agricultural College development of a 'Training Program in Sustainable Agriculture' at the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (Columbia) project records

Subseries contains records that were created and used in the partnership project with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (NSAC) and the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (Columbia) in the development of a 'Training Program in Sustainable Agriculture' at UFPS for both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program ran between 1997 and 2002. The Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (UFPS) was asked to play a key role in “El Salto Social”, the social leap forward, in the Santander region of Colombia. New curricula was to be introduced at UFPS, faculty being upgraded and new extension and outreach programs being established with the assistance of NSAC through this project. Other project partners were the Universidad de la Republica Uruguay (URU) of Uruguay and Saint Mary’s University (SMU). This was an Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) University Program for Cooperation in Development (UPCD) Tier 2 project led by NSAC. NSAC Personnel involved were Norman Goodyear, Bonnie Waddell, Sam Asiedu, and Leanne French.

The file consists of correspondence mainly concerning James Morrison's academic life at University of Ibadan. The correspondence includes applications for employment positions and articles, as well as personal letters. The file contains over 100 letters with different correspondents, including many from universities across Canada.

This item contains a letter to Dr. Melville Cumming from Keiler Mackay, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario written in May 25th, 1960. It writes about John Macrae’s role in WWI as Gunner of the Canadian Field Artillery and as a Medical Doctor in the Canadian Medical Unit. Attached to the is a newspaper clipping of Macrae’s poem “In Flanders Field"
