File consists of a photocopy of the Ecology Action Centre's proposal for core funding to support two support staff and a short-term-projects fund for 1975.The proposal includes an overview of the proposed projects, the activities of EAC, and a list of members of the EAC board.
Fonds consists of records created and collected by the Centre for Art Tapes between 1977 and 2005. Materials reflect the artist-run centre's diverse functions and activities. Records include correspondence, meeting minutes, photographs, scholarship applications, funding applications, posters, programs, CDs, DVDs, audio cassettes, exhibition catalogues, reports, financial statements, public service announcements, news releases, blueprints, agreements, workshop materials and programming information.
File contains the order of carols for Halifax Camerata Singers' performance on CBC Information Morning as part of a special program for raising supplies and funds for the Food Bank. Twenty out of twenty-five members of the choir were in attendance.
Item consists of an annotated typescript copy of Carleton Stanley's address at the Community Chest luncheon meeting, held at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Halifax, on October 30, 1933, discussing the problems faced by charitable organizations since 1929 -- "[though] I am not advising any of you to take a pair of thumbscrews along with you on your canvass [for charitable contributions]" -- and the growth of the Halifax Public Health Clinic.
Fonds consists of records pertaining to the administrative, operational, financial, and artistic activities of the ASO. Included are materials documenting the Board of Directors, box office operations (including ticket sales), financial affairs, fundraising, general administration, guest artists, orchestra members, public relations and publicity, and the union. Also included is the photograph series which presents a visual record of various aspects of the orchestra's activities, including performances and women's auxiliary events as well as publicity shots of musicians, conductors, staff, and guest artists.
File contains a poster for a concert by the Halifax Camerata Singers as a gala fundraiser for The Lung Association. The concert was held at Lilian Piercey Recital Hall in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
