Scope and content
Series contains materials produced or collected as part of Larry Baxter's involvement with community HIV/AIDS organizations in Nova Scotia, including AIDS Nova Scotia [formerly MACAIDS], the Nova Scotia Persons With AIDS Coalition [NSPWAC], and the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia [ACNS]. Materials in this series document health and legal advocacy efforts for persons with HIV/AIDS, including research, lobbying, and community events.

Arrangement
Series was created by the archivist based on the donor's original order and labelling. Subseries within this series reflect the activities of organizations that would later merge to become AIDS Nova Scotia. Series does not include materials from the Churchmembers Assembled to Respond to AIDS series as materials in that series were received as a separate accession, document spiritual and pastoral care for persons living with HIV/AIDS rather than research and lobbying efforts, and do not reflect activities related to AIDS Nova Scotia or its predecessors. Files in series are arranged alphabetically.
