Drawings for a residence for Mr. W.R. MacInnes

File contains a set of ten construction blueprints for a three-story house with six bedrooms and a maid's room, designed by Willam R. Cobb. The house was built in 1926 for William MacInnes (of W.R. MacInnes & Co, General Insurance Agents and Investment Bankers) at 18 Oxford Street, Halifax. In 1975 Dalhousie University purchased the house (then 135 Oxford Street) to convert to student housing. By 1984 the house had been replaced with a condominium complex called Oxford Court. The drawings are labelled sheets 1-10, and include plans, elevations, sections and roof details.

Drawings of proposed electrical arrangements and modifications to propoulsion shafting for the Bluenose II

File contains three drawings of proposed modifications for the Bluenose II. The drawings include a diagram of the existing electrical arrangement with proposed modifications; two copies of a drawing of a proposed modification to the propulsion shafting; and two copies of a proposed schematic diagram of electrical distribution. Drawings of the 1949 Dalhousie University mace

File contains 15 drawings of the ceremonial mace designed in 1949 by Chasteney Holbourne Saunders, former head of the Department of Anatomy. The mace was carved in oak, decorated with silver and enamel, and measured 1.4 metres in length. First used in the 1950 convocation, the mace was retired in 1919 when the university introduced the "New Dawn Staff of Place and Belonging" as its ceremonial object.

There is one full-scale drawing in ink and three reduced reproductions mounted on board. The remainder are rough sketches and detail drawings in pencil of the emblems and figures that Saunders employed to represent maritime traditions and the historical significance of Dalhousie’s service to the Atlantic provinces.

Fonds contains architectural drawings created by Drew Sperry as a student at Nova Scotia Technical College and later as a certified architect. His student work comprises presentation drawings, while the designs for his own home in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and two other residential commissions include both presentation and construction drawings. There are two folders of textual records, which comprise a transcript of an interview with Drew and Sheila Sperry, real estate appraisals of their Dartmouth residence, and early budget breakdowns from Sperry's architectural practice.

File contains drum parts for the Paul Cram Orchestra's second Canadian tour in September 2001 in support of the band’s debut CD on the Victo Label: “Campin Out.” The group played Halifax, Ottawa (National Library of Canada), Guelph (Guelph Jazz Festival), Vancouver (Western Front), and Montreal (Sala Rossa). Works included are: "Taiwanese Bootleg"; "Life of Crime"; "Tip of the Iceberg"; "High Ground"; "Have a Heart"; "Walking the Wall"; Eye of the Storm"; "Kafka's Chair"; "Immortal Coil", "Zebra Zone"; "Urban Desperado"; "Thunder"; and "Campin' Out." The episode aired on May 4, 1989, and was rebroadcasted on May 8, 1989, and September 24, 1990 on The Evening Affair, CKDU's evening public affairs radio program.

File expresses the authors' interest in including any of "material published or unpublished" that Leslie would be willing to offer to the publication of a literary anthology of psychology courses, featuring works "which illustrate clearly defined psychological states such as depression, euphoria or anxiety" or featuring characters "who might be mentally retarded, paranoid, schizophrenic or addicted to drugs."
