Item is a presentation drawing created by Drew Sperry of the fourth and fifth floor plans of a proposed YMCA for Halifax, which was Sperry's terminal design project for his Bachelor of Architecture degree at the Nova Scotia Technical College.

Fourth draft of Atlantic Child Guidance Centre position paper

Item consists of the fourth draft of an Atlantic Child Guidance Centre position paper, dated August 31, 1972, prepared by the Atlantic Child Guidance Centre Policy Committtee (Dr. Alexander Murchison, Dr. G. Gordon, Norris Turner, Paul Norton, Dr. S. Bijoor, and Everett Harris). The item is addressed to "all Atlantic Child Guidance Centre staff for comment" before final submission, and has the goal of ensuring that "adolescents [...] not be forgotten either in terms of bureaucratic strucutre or in terms of submergence in adult designed and orientated programs," and that they "require advocates" to ensure that any public health legislation does not overlook the needs of those who are "underage [... in a] largely adult orientated society."

Item is a 1930 presentation drawing by architect Andrew Cobb of the fourth floor plan for an arts building at Dalhousie that was planned but never built. This version includes the upper part of the third-floor lecture and arts rooms, two laboratories, six studies and an undesignated room. A note on the plans indicates that the corridor to the studies was waiting for the steel trusses design.

Fonds consists of a draft typescript of Baird's "Doctor Archibald MacMechan: An Estimate and an Appreciation," commissioned by The Halifax Chronicle for their 1923 New Year's edition and withdrawn at Archibald MacMechan's request. Also present are three letters from MacMechan concerning the article and a later letter from Stanley MacKenzie regarding an essay by Baird rejected by The Dalhousie Review.

Files contains Frank McMahon's registration tickets for the Halifax Medical College (Dalhousie College and University Medical Faculty) and his attendance/examination cards for Anatomy, Materia Medica, Practical Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Botany, and Chemistry. The cards are printed on coloured heavy card and are held in a small black leather-bound folder. Cards are variously signed by John Forrest, A.W.H. Lindsay, D.A. Campbell, Arthur Morrow, John Somers, George L. Sinclair, and others. The back of one card contains a note from A.W.H. Lindsay about dissections.
