The piece was performed at a 2007 concert by the Guerrillas (Paul Cram on clarinet and tenor; Dawn Hatfield on baritone sax; Rick Waychesko on trumpet; Lee Park on electric violin; Toni Pigot on vocals; Dave Burton on drums; Lukas Pearse on bass and electronica; and Jeff Torbert on guitar and electronica.

Item is a copy of the first edition of Igor Stravinsky's piano arrangement of his ballet, "The Firebird." The ballet was written for the Ballets Russes in Paris, under the direction of Sergei Diaghilev. The piano arrangement was published shortly after the premiere performance on June 25, 1910 at the Théâtre National de l'Opéra.

Permit me, in bad English, to thank you for your songs & for your essay on my musical work. Both has [sic] given me much pleasure. I also congratulate you to your reputation in America as teacher and composer and beg you kindly to receive from me and my wife our best compliments. Yours faithfully, Edvard Grieg."
