The survey was prepared by the staff of the Nova Scotia Museum with the cooperation of the Nova Scotia Bird Society, the Dalhousie Biology Club, and the Nova Scotia Research Foundation. Slides of northern rocks, flowers, and carvings

File contains 40 slides of photographs taken by Rosemary Gilliat during a trip to the eastern Canadian Arctic with Barbara Hinds in 1960. The photographs were taken in Cape Dorset, George River (Kangiqsualujjuaq), Port Burwell (Killiniq), and other locations in the eastern Canadian Arctic. The location of many of the photographs is not indicated. The slides show rock formations, vegetation on the tundra, Inuit sculptures, and other Inuit handicrafts.

Photographs of glacial retreat at Alexandra Fiord, Ellesmere Island

File contains 24 photographs taken by Bill Freedman at Alexandra Fiord, Ellesmere Island, from 1979 to 1982. Photographs show the glacial corridor at the head of Alexandra Fiord, as well as evidence of glacial retreat. There are also photographs of some of the researchers on the team.
