Gulf of Maine case

Subseries consists of Ronald St. John Macdonald's records regarding his involvement with the Gulf of Maine case. Subseries contains correspondence, a memorandum of agreement, newspaper clippings, reports, and other materials.

Gay men's health and HIV/AIDS

Subseries contains materials documenting NSRAP's research and support work related to HIV/AIDS, including the Gay Men's Health Research Project, and NSRAPS's response to Nova Scotia's Strategy for HIV/AIDS. Materials in subseries include Gay Men's Health Research Project planning and research materials, HIV/AIDS related government policy documents, meeting minutes and agendas, correspondence, and notes.

Gaezette

Subseries contains duplicate issues of Gaezette, a publication which was originally published as the newsletter for the Gay Alliance for Equality. It was published by a non-profit collective between 1984-1995, when it changed its name to Wayves. It existed to inform lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people across Atlantic Canada of activities in their communities, and to promote those activities and support their aims and objectives.

Fundraising

Subseries consists of records related to the fundraising efforts of Eyelevel Gallery between 1985 and 2001.

Finished episodes

Sub-Series includes the digital audio files of the finished episodes aired on Rock Meets Bone. Episodes include and introduction and conclusion narrated by Brain Guns, and interviews, performances, or music created by the artist. Sub-Series also includes one digital audio file from CBC's Atlantic Airwaves detailing the story of Rock Meets Bone.

Erie and Superior Community Project

Subseries contains records created and collected by Gil Winham during his work on the Erie and Superior Community Project, which analyzed the capacity of ten Ontario communities to manage water quality. This project was initiated by Gil Winham and P.A. Globensky, funded by the Government of Canada, and located at McMaster University, where Winham was teaching. Records types include correspondence; grant applications; research materials; a copy of the final report; and a subsequent analysis of the project data.

Diaries

Subseries consists of eleven diaries handwritten by James Morrison from the years 1967 to 1976. These diaries span his time moving from Nova Scotia to Nigeria, and detail his personal and professional life.

Demonstration banners and flags

Series contains banners and flags produced by members of the Gay and Lesbian Association for use in Pride marches, GALA meetings, and other political demonstrations in Nova Scotia.

Data analysis

Subseries includes data for and analyses of socioeconomic aspects of Yoruba women's lives (education, migration, social class, health, children, husbands, religion, family, etc.). The 1963 data seems to be part of another study, referred to in several files as "The 1963 study on the role of Yoruba women," that either piggybacked off the Cornell-Aro study or was somehow included as a sub-project.

Dalhousie University's Medical Science Building

Subseries comprises records created or collected by the Office of the Architect and Facilities Management at Dalhousie University related to the design, construction and renovations/additions to the Medical Science Building (renamed the Burbidge Building in 1970), designed by Halifax architect Andrew Randall Cobb and built between 1922-and 1924. Cobb's plans allowed for a third floor addition, which was built in 1978.

Dalhousie University yearbooks

Subseries contains yearbooks published by Dalhousie University students between 1927 and 1998. From 1929 until the 1990s, the yearbooks were largely printed under the title Pharos, a reference to the destroyed lighthouse in ancient Alexandria.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Trojan Women

File contains fifteen costume design for Dalhousie Theatre's 1992 production of The Trojan Women. Twelve of the designs are watercolour sketches and three are pencil sketches.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Tempest

File contains 20 pastel and pencil sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1991 production of The Tempest. Each sketch shows a costume design for one character. The sketches are drawn on dark blue heavyweight paper.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Sea

File contains photocopies of eleven costume designs from Dalhousie Theatre's 1983 production of The Sea. One of the costume designs has fabric swatches attached to it.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Rivals

File contains fifteen watercolour sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1982 production of The Rivals. All sketches are mounted with a plastic cover in a dark red mat.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Possibilities

File contains eleven oil pastel sketches of costume and set designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1991 production of The Possibilities. Each sketch is for a specific scene in the play and shows several figures wearing costumes.

Dalhousie Theatre : The Lucky Chance

File contains thirteen watercolour sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1994 production of the Lucky Chance. Each sketch shows a costume design for one character from the performance. Three of the sketches are covered by a clear plastic sheet which is attached on all four sides with masking tape.

Dalhousie Theatre : St. Carman of the Main

File contains 21 costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1990 production of St. Carman of the Main. The title of the play may actually be spelled "St. Carmen of the Main." Ten of the sketches are cut out and mounted on corrugated cardboard, with collages of newspaper articles in the background. The other eleven sketches are pencil and coloured pencil sketches on heavyweight paper.

Dalhousie Theatre : Spring Awakening

File contains four drawings and six photocopies of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1977 production of Spring Awakening. Several of the items have fabric swatches attached.

Dalhousie Theatre : Shakespeare's Women

File contains 26 costume designs from Dalhousie Theatre's 1990 production of Shakespeare's Women. Six of them are watercolour sketches and the rest are pencil sketches. The file also contains two photocopies of one of the sketches and three pages of notes about the sketches. The first 18 sketches were drawn on the same pad of paper and are stored between the covers of that pad of paper. There are some drawings on the cover of the pad of paper. Some of the sketches have fabric swatches attached.

Dalhousie Theatre : Rose

File contains two costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1984 production of Rose. The designs are drawn in pencil on grey card.
