Records include official and personal correspondence; research notes; newspaper clippings regarding Nova Scotia athletes; conference information; committee records; film and video recordings used for class instruction; magazines; programs from various sports associations and teams; published articles by Young on Maritime sport history; sound recordings; teaching slides about international sports history; photographs of Nova Scotian and/or Canadian athletes; postcards; maps; and scrapbooks. There is also an assortment of artifacts and memorabilia related to Nova Scotia Olympian Aileen Meagher, including a track outfit, relay baton, and Olympic bronze medal certificate.
