File contains a photograph album of photographs taken at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College taken and collected by the donor Ed Munroe, [NSAC] class of 1941. There are 34 b&w photographs of student life on the NSAC campus, there are also and invitations to the 1940 and 1941 NSAC graduation dances.
File contains 2 photographs of students and faculty or instructors from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, there are men in hats on the steps of Cumming Hall or the Science Building (?). They are wearing warm clothing, gloves, sweaters, scarves. There is also a photograph of 8 men standing in a wooden fenced enclosure looking at a pig; two men with pieces of wood in their hands, four men with books under their arms, all wearing bowler hats.
File contains an envelope address to The Bill Lynch Shows from Ethel (no last name specified) dated in Amherst November 18, 1942, and Halifax November 20-30, a blank labor service card with notes on the back, a card requesting name and address on the front of letters and parcels, a letter from Ethel to Bill Lynch dated July 25, 1942 from Amherst, and six photographs of: an unidentified woman in Sydney on July 16 1942, an unidentified woman at Murcer [sic] Lake in Sydney on July 13, 1942, an unidentified man in a parked car, a dog, two unidentified men on a ship plank over the war, three unidentified men in uniform and a dog by a Christmas tree, and three unidentified men, two in uniform and one in a suit, outside. Ethel's letter states she would try to enclose photographs of herself, so she may be the unidentified woman in the photos.
File includes black and white photographs depicting training and camp activities of the 7th Division Artillery (RCA) at Tracadie, New Brunswick in 1943. One photo is of training at Debert, Nova Scotia. File also contains newspaper clippings.
File contains a b&w photograph titled "RCAF? NSAC 1943- meeting hen or new men NSAC 1943", perhaps a Royal Canadian Air Force event held at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.

File contains photographs of Lester Hattie, who was born circa 1913, and married Beth Whiteway. They had three children, Scott, Jeannie, and Stewart. Hattie died May 16, 2004 in New Glasgow.
