File contains photocopies of illustrations (with captions) used by Elisabeth Mann Borgese in "The Drama of the Oceans." Includes 12 photographs from the United States Navy (mainly of naval vessels and equipment), three historical illustrations from the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London, and two photos from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Also contains a typed page entitled "Explanations for Photographs."

The first, "The Draft Convention on the Law of the Sea: An Appeal for Action Now," was written after the suspension of the Tenth (10th) Session of the United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea, after the United States Government announced a review of the Draft Convention. The second is a a copy of "The Draft Convention" on the Informal Composite Negotiating Text.
