A brochure for the university’s new $750-million fundraising campaign beginning at Dalhousie University. Dalhousie will invest in enhanced and new programs, supports, and facilities with far-reaching impacts. For example, the university plans to create more scholarships to ensure that every qualified student has the financial support they need for a Dalhousie education. There were events launch events held at Dalhousie’s Student Union Building in Halifax Tuesday (April 2) and in Bible Hill in the Student Learning Commons of the MacRae Library Thursday (April 4).

1971 Pro-Ag-Ed-Atlantic conference proceedings

Item is a copy of the proceedings of the Pro-Ag-Ed-Atlantic conference, held May 6 & 7, 1971, at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Participants at the conference included approximately 100 people whose professions were directly related to agriculture and/or education. The purpose was to explore professional agricultural education in the Atlantic region. The conference was called by the Hon. William Gillis, N.S. Minister of Agriculture and Marketing. Perspectives and trends from Europe, U.S.A., and Canada were presented during the sessions.
