File contains an annotated draft of Budge Wilson's second book in the Izzie series, "Trongate Fury." The file also contains a copy of a letter from Wilson to Penguin publishers about the manuscript.

The vision of Dalhousie : [brochure]

File contains a brochure created in 1920 by the Dalhousie Campaign Committee. The brochure presents architect Andrew Cobb's campus master plan known as the "vision of Dalhousie." The brochure presents the original Dalhousie College building on Grand Parade as the "First Dalhousie" and the newly constructed Forrest Building as the "Second Dalhousie."

The bulk of correspondence dates from the 1970s-1990s, although there are financial and committee records from the 1950s and limited other records from the journal's inception in 1921.

Reference cards

Series contains a collection of Brian Hall's reference cards used for citations. Materials include two sharp card sorters used for cohesively organising and finding individual groups of cards. There are approximately 20 000 reference cards. The cards deal with a variety of scientific topics, including but not limited to: the effects of mechanical stress on cartilage in vitro; a clinical overview of neurofibramitosis; and the growth of the facial skeleton in the hominoidea. The card sorters are located in Box 6.

The file also contains documents about Sheila Stivens and her position as Craft Officer with the Nova Scotia Department of Recreation, including letters to Sheila Stiven from various people, correspondence from Robert Doyle about her position, and her curriculum vitae.

Duff's monkey business : drafts and related correspondence

File contains two drafts of Budge Wilson's book "Duff's Monkey Business" and related correspondence with the publisher, Formac Publishing Company Limited, which include early proposed drawings by the illustrator Kim LaFave.

Dalhousie University : past, present, and the future

File contains two copies of a booklet called Dalhousie University, which was produced by the Dalhousie Million Committee as promotional literature supporting the university's 1920 Million Dollar Campaign. The booklet, subtitled "Dalhousie, past, present and the future," outlines the university's accomplishments and plans and spells out the financial costs of fulfilling its vision. The booklet's illustrations of historic and contemporary Dalhousie people and buildings were drawn by Arthur Lismer and commissioned for a commemorative history of of the university published the same year.

One copy of the booklet contains a newspaper clipping about Frank Darling.
