Item consists of a hand-painted banner made of white cotton fabric covered in purple handprints and other colourful brush marks, and featuring the acronym "CODCO" in black text painted over a large pink triangle. The banner was likely produced in relation to the Newfoundland-based comedy troupe CODCO's participation in the 1992 Halifax Pride parade.

File contains posters for events at Rumours, a bar in Halifax that was owned and operated by the Gay and Lesbian Association of Nova Scotia (GALA) from 1982 to 1995. File includes three posters for Rumours' Pride events, held from June 26 to July 1, 1993; three posters for the Easter weekend events, held April 8th and 10th, 1993; three poster for the Christmas in July event, held on 1993-07-24; and one poster for A rhapsody in blue New Year's event, held on 1992-12-31.

Leather community materials

Series contains materials collected by Al Stewart as part of his involvement with the Halifax-based TightRope leather brotherhood, which was established in the early 1990s, incorporated in 1997, and disbanded in 2007. Series also contains materials related to the Mr. Atlantic Canada Leather [MACLeather] organization, which operated between 1999-2010, and the leather community more broadly. File contains materials related to the life and passing of Wilson Hodder. Hodder was a prominent LGBT activist in Nova Scotia, who successfully petitioned for spousal survivors benefits for same-sex couples under the Canada Pension Plan following the passing of his partner, Terry Martin.
