Fonds consists of Phi Delta Theta records, including programs, budgets, reviews, newspaper clippings and materials related to the fraternity's fiftieth reunion in 1980. There is also Morton's history of the fraternity, miscellaneous correspondence (including some with Kenneth Leslie’s lawyer regarding the Committee on Un-American Activities) and a play written by Morton in the 1930s.
This fonds consists primarily of records related to the Board of Governors collected by Farquhar during his time on the board, including minutes; the report A Survey and Plan of Fund-raising for Dalhousie University; and a file of correspondence, newspaper clippings, and publications related to President Stanley Carleton’s resignation.

Collection comprises legal business correspondence, a book of legal judgment abstracts, indentures documenting Lunenburg County land sales, and papers regarding claims upon the wreck of two schooners.
Fonds consists of records pertaining primarily to the professional activities of Ransom Myers and the major organizations and projects with which he was affiliated during his career as Killam Oceans Chair at Dalhousie University; there are also records created during his doctoral studies and his tenure as a research scientist at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. The collection includes correspondence, draft manuscripts, offprints, conference and association materials, presentations, course and teaching materials, litigation and consultancy records (including affidavits and invoices), photographs, annotated research materials, press collected about Myers’ work or pertaining to his research, student files, datasets and web content.
Fonds includes Lawrence Johnstone Burpee's correspondence and personal papers regarding his uncle, James De Mille, spanning from 1880 to 1946. Personal papers include lecture notes, a manuscript, and various secondary sources about De Mille.

Population data and research on the people of Fogo Island over a period of one hundred years is also included. Records consist of correspondence, surveys with fishermen and their wives, research on the fishing industry (particuarly with regard to health problems and fatalities), notes on findings and research, interview transcripts, and audio recordings of the interviews.

Fonds also contains objects and ephemera related to the leather community, Affirm, and Stewart's membership in the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union [NSGEU], as well as personal photographs, correspondence, and LGBT publications.
Fonds contains materials related to Janet Conners' advocacy work for recipients of tainted blood products and other persons with HIV/AIDS. Janet's and her husband, Randy Conners, contracted HIV when Randy, a hemophiliac, was treated with infected blood. After publicly announcing Randy's diagnosis in 1991, the Conners provided testimony to the Royal Commission of Inquiry on the Blood System in Canada [the Krever Inquiry], and became advocates for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Janet revealed her HIV positive status upon Randy's death in 1994. Materials in fonds include legal documents, correspondence, speaking notes, press releases, day planners, awards and honorary degrees, and photographs.
Fonds contains materials collected by LGBTQ+ activist Bob Fougere pertaining to his activism in Halifax. Records in fonds document Fougere's work as coordinator of the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project [NSRAP], including NSRAP's participation in the Halifax Rainbow Health Project and its health care advocacy work on behalf of transgender Nova Scotians. Materials also document Fougere's roles as board member at Safe Harbour Metropolitan Community Church, and facilitator the Lesbian Gay and Bisexual Youth Project support group. Materials in fonds include correspondence, pamphlets, essays, studies, clippings, reports, meeting minutes, conference materials, and ephemera.
