Fonds consists of documents created and collected by Eyelevel Gallery that reflect all aspects of the gallery’s management. File consists of records relating to exhibitions held at the Dalhousie Art Gallery in 1958.

Records include a memo from Alex S. Mowat (Chairman of the Dalhousie Art Committee) calling for submissions for the fifth annual showcase of artworks by students, staff, and alumni of Dalhousie University, held in April 1958; and a list of names and prices of artworks shown in the Canadian Medical Association Annual Convention's 'Exhibition of Paintings by Nova Scotian Artists', hosted by Dalhousie University in June 1958.

Exhibitions 1963-64

File consists of records related to exhibitions planned for the Dalhousie Art Gallery between 1963-1964.

Records include correspondence between Mirko Usmiami and Jean-René Ostiguy (National Gallery of Canada), cancelling several exhibitions after damage to artworks from the Paul-Emile Borduas exhibition; packing lists; itineraries; lists of available exhibitions from the National Gallery; and an exhibition lending agreement.

B.C. paintings 1966

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'B.C. Paintings '66', organized and circulated by the National Gallery of Canada. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery in October 1967.

Hart House collects 1968-69 exhibitions

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'Hart House Collects: Recent Acquisitions' organized by the National Gallery of Canada and presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery from March 28 - April 20, 1969.

Records consist of a condition report and attached packing list and booking agreement, descriptive exhibition text, and two photocopied journal articles: 'The Hart House Collection' by Donald Buchanan, published in Canadian Art Volume 5, No. 2, and 'The Hart House Collection of Canadian Art' by Ian Montagnes, published in Canadian Art Volume 20, No. 4.

Canadian watercolours of the 19th century exhibition

File consists of records related to the Montreal Museum lends II exhibition: 19th and 20th century paintings. The National Gallery of Canada organized and circulated the exhibition, and it was shown at Dalhousie Art Gallery from February 18 to March 30, 1975.

Records consist of condition reports, packing instructions, newspaper clippings, a floor plan, correspondence between the National Gallery of Canada and Dalhousie Art Gallery, loan agreements, and photographs of paintings including "Autumn On The Banks Of The Oise" by Alfred Sisley, "Lamp and Cherries" by Pablo Picasso, and "Neapolitan Girl's Head" by Pierre-Auguste.

First Dalhousie drawing exhibition

File consists of records related to the first annual Dalhousie drawing exhibition, organized and selected by Michael Snow. The show was held at Dalhousie Art Gallery from January 9 - 28, 1976. The artists that participated in this exhibition were Michael Snow, Royden Rabinowitch, Joyce Wieland, John Meredith, Ron Martin and Dennis Burton.

Records consist of a list of works exhibited, biographies of included artists, a floor plan, clippings, interdepartmental memos, insurance documents, lists of expenses, invoices, and correspondence with Michael Snow and other galleries(lenders to the exhibition). The Bill Lynch Shows business correspondence

File contains four business letters written to and from the Bill Lynch Shows from August 19, 1942 to July 16, 1947. The first is from the Bill Lynch Shows regarding a wallet lost on August 18, 1942 by Elmer Rogers and subsequently found, and is dated August 19, 1942. The second is from the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company regarding reconditioning a Caliola organ, and is dated October 6, 1942. The third is from the Annapolis County Exhibition Committee signed by Donald White regarding the Bill Lynch Shows returning from September 14-17, 1943, and is dated June 11, 1943. The fourth is from Teasdale and Foot, Limited and signed by Eric Teasdale regarding purchasing a car and multiple trucks for the Bill Lynch Shows, dated July 16, 1947.
