File contains the first term examination for the 'agronomy' course, senior class, dated January 27, 1938, and the examination for the 'animal husbandry' course dated October 14th, 1937. Both we administered by Dr. Stan Curtis at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
File contains photographs of the interior and exterior of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College library that was built in 1982, and 1983 library staff and librarians. There are also portraits of past librarians and students. From 1913-1939 the NSAC library collection was housed on bookshelves of a small room adjacent to the office of the Professor of English. From 1939-1968 Principal Lyman Chapman improved the library arrangements by rearranging space previously occupied by the janitor’s quarters on the top floor of the administrative building, later named Cumming Hall; they provided tables, newspapers, magazines, books, reference books and textbooks. Between 1968-1982 the library was housed in the Cox Institute, the library was given space to the west of the stairwell on the lower level. The library added a microfiche reader during this time. In the 1980s a new building for library services became the first priority when the degree program was approved. Official opening of the new library was graduation day May 1983, and the library was named the MacRae library in 1990.
File contains a final draft titled "Report of the Committee to study the Farm Courses of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College", by Mr. Kenneth Cox in 1960. Also included are a draft copy, meeting minutes, correspondence, farm class tour survey, recommendations, and other related materials.
File contains two crests designed for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College by Doug Edit. Correspondence regarding NSAC crests from Doug Edit to Tom Smith in 1995. And a document titled "Mens agitat molem", it explains the motto for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
Files contain the first, third, sixth, and seventh (1913-1919) annual reports submitted by Peter F. J. Shaw, the superintendent of ground and gardens and horticulturist for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
File contains two articles written by Nova Scotia Agricultural College principal Melville Cumming on the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and an article prepared for MacDonald College Magazine.

File contains 3 colour photographic prints of the construction of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Library (later named the MacRae Library) in May 6, 1982.
File contains 4 negative prints of a Nova Scotia Agricultural College building prior to demolition, possibly the Principals house. The building was dormer roofed, 2 story (+ attic) building with 4 front bay windows, covered front stairs with veranda above, and side porch visible. Rear view has a lean-to porch and small side entry. The photograph is dated Feb 14, 1977.

File contains a photograph album of photographs taken at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College taken and collected by the donor Ed Munroe, [NSAC] class of 1941. There are 34 b&w photographs of student life on the NSAC campus, there are also and invitations to the 1940 and 1941 NSAC graduation dances.
File contains three photographs, two of E.L. Eaton with the wooden chains and board he carved and mounted and one close up photograph of the board with wooden chains. The photographs were taken in 1983 of the work done in 1981.
File contains an assortment of invoices, correspondence, and change of address notices that James Morrison sent and received from 1973-1974 in Nigeria and in Colchester County, Nova Scotia. The file holds publication invoices from Blackwell's and Cambridge University Press, hand written correspondence from James Morrison to his wife Sheila Morrison, and bank statements from several Nigerian banks.
File is an audio cassette tape with recordings of Sheila Piercey singing at the Barber of Seville (COC tour) on November 26, 1968, in Truro, Nova Scotia.
File contains photographs of Provincial farm buildings, or School of Agriculture buildings, and early Nova Scotia Agricultural College buildings, including the original science building which stood from 1898-1932.
File contains photographs of a chicken barbeque event on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Campus. The first such event was held on July 2, 1951, followed by barbeques in 1952. 1953 and 1954 with 3000 to 5000 people in attendance. The barbeques were sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing and the Nova Scotia Farmers' Association to promote the newly expanding broiler chicken industry.
File contains negative photographs of the August 1976 Nova Scotia Agricultural College Open House. There are 4 sets of negatives, they include people sitting at tables outdoors around a field in 1970s era clothing, people watching a marching pipes and drum band, some of the photographs feature the campus barn and silos in background, one shows Clydesdale horses pulling a wagon with approx. 8 people seated.
