Series contains materials related to Janet Conners' involvement in the Royal Commission of Inquiry on the Blood System in Canada [the Krever inquiry], related legal cases, and Conners' subsequent advocacy work for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Materials include legal documents, correspondence, speaking notes, press releases, and medical records.

Video recordings

Series contains video recordings of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir from 1992 to 2010.

Personal archives of Bruce Oland

Series consists of textual records and graphic material related to Bruce Oland's personal life and interests, professional and charitable activities, the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, and his time in the Navy as well as legal and financial records. Files in the series were originally mixed with family business records now found in the Oland and Son fonds (MS-4-135).

Membership lists

Series consists of membership and attendance lists of the Reading Club. It also contains lists of officers of the club from 1925-1941 and lists of hostesses and co-hostesses from 1971-1972.

Operational records

Series contains programmes of Reading club meetings, records of charitable donations, and documentation of the 50th, 60th, 65th, and 70th anniversaries of the Dalhousie-King’s Reading Club, including speeches, photographs and other related materials.

Administration records of Eyelevel Gallery

Series provides contextual information on the organization and administration of the Eyelevel Gallery and the activities of its Board of Directors. Included are administrative records, minutes, annual reports, official status documentation and bylaws of the Gallery, and records from the Gallery's involvement with other associations.

Diamond Divas Revue posters

Series contains posters for the 5th and 10th anniversary Diamond Divas Revue annual drag shows, held in Moncton, New Brunswick. Diamond Divas revues served as fundraisers for various LGBTQ+ initiatives in the Maritimes.

Sound recordings

Series contains sound recordings of Sheila Piercey's opera performances, dress rehearsals, auditions, practice sessions, radio broadcast, as well as concert and recital performances with the Canadian Opera Company (COC). Most recordings are on audio reels and cassette tapes.

Annual reports

Series consists of official reports presented annually to the membership. In addition to the president's annual report, files may include financial and committee reports (drafts and final copies), copies of JUSUN, meeting minutes, project summaries, and membership and donor lists and contact information. Reports for 1983-1986 are missing.

Resource centre library of the Ecology Action Centre

Series consists of reference material from the Ecology Action Centre's resource centre library. Series includes books, pamphlets, newsletters, fact sheets and similar types of reference material created and collected by the Ecology Action Centre. Materials cover subjects such as parks and green spaces, species at risk, pesticide spraying, climate change, pollution, composting, recycling, and energy sources including nuclear, tidal power, oil, and gas.

Series includes records derived from Ross Boutilier's legal challenge to the province of Nova Scotia regarding same-sex marriage protection and his Canadian Human Rights Tribunal challenge to have same-sex marriages acknowledged and declared eligible for relevant benefits. The series also includes documents derived from Wilson Hodder's legal challenge regarding same-sex benefits. Materials include legal documents, correspondence, notes, and clippings.

Halifax Pride committee records and ephemera

Series contains records relating to Ross Boutilier's involvement in the organization of the Halifax Pride parade, including committee records, financial records, reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, notes, memos, schedules, parade and Pride Guide planning materials, advertisements and press releases, and posters and pins worn or collected during Halifax Pride parades.

Creative records of Upstream Orchestra

Series reflects the various music-making activities of Upstream Ensemble and Upstream Orchestra, specifically those relating to performing, composing, and improvising. Records include those from the musicians’ concerts, tours, workshops, and the Open Waters Festival.

Series contains duplicates of wearable ephemera from fonds in the Nova Scotia LGBT Seniors Archive. Materials in series including buttons and pins, badges, medals, clothing, and other regalia related to or worn during Halifax Pride parades, political demonstrations organized by Lesbian and Gay Rights Nova Scotia [LGRNS] and other groups, Mr. Atlantic Canada Leather [M.A.C. Leather] contests, and other LGBT causes and events.

Series consists of records documenting the administrative, creative, financial, legal, production, and publicity and marketing activities of this company. All corporate files relating to imX have been retained, including the electronic records of corporate administration and operations of imX copied from hard drives. Electronic materials include textual, graphic, and audio-visual materials in various digital formats. Some of these materials are digital copies of materials in project series that were maintained on drives. Some materials in this series exist in project files printed on paper or copied to disc or tape. This series contains accounting and budget information, agreements, annual financial statements, biographies, business plans, business and legal arrangements and agreements, corporate logos, conference records, correspondence, demos, distribution arrangements and agreements, educational mentorship information, film development information, playback questionnaires, pre-development scripts, promotional materials for various film festivals, press releases, promotional stills, and documentation on web site development and design.

Exhibition files

Series contains exhibition files created by the Dalhousie Art Gallery. Exhibition files contain administrative records that document the planning and promotion of exhibitions presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery from its inception in 1953 to the present day. Some known exhibitions do not have corresponding exhibition files, but the series provides a comprehensive record of the gallery's exhibitions.

Activities documented in exhibition files vary, but typically include transportation and insurance of exhibited works of art, compensation and accommodations for artists or curators, preparation of promotional material and exhibition catalogues, organization of public events, and coordination of touring exhibitions. Exhibition files may include correspondence, insurance documents, contracts, invoices, invitations, interdepartmental memos, floor plans, lists of artworks, handling instructions, condition reports, photographs, newspaper clippings, reviews, and other material.

Joan Gilroy's study, research and writing records

Series comprises published and unpublished manuscripts, off prints, research notes and conference papers produced by Joan Gilroy in her capacity as a graduate student and tenured professor at the Maritime School of Social Work. Damage Done: The Drug War Odyssey/Drug Warrior

Series consists of records documenting the administrative, creative, financial, legal, production, and publicity and marketing activities of this project. Directed by Connie Littlefield, Damage Done was a documentary co-produced with the National Film Board of Canada. It featured interviews with current and former members of law enforcement who disagreed with the way in which the illegal drugs trade was policed and prosecuted. This series contains agreements, applications, budget materials, a crew list, a credit roll, film festival and awards documents, financing schedules, press clippings, a marketing plan, publicity clips, stock footage, interviews, reference materials, and video and audio recordings.
