Henry Hicks' Oxford University records

Series comprises records created and collected by Henry Hicks during his studies in law at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. Records include typewritten, perfect bound volumes of detailed notes about specific subjects and lectures, which were either created or acquired by Hicks. There is also a boat race programme and a 1939 food ration book.

Henry Orenstein's records

Series consists of Henry Orenstein's materials regarding his professional activities, including photographs, negatives, sketches, programs, flyers, posters, postcards, slides, correspondence and other materials. Fonds contains several of Henry Orenstein's art pieces and sketches, including related to the "Sudbury Industrial Landscape" project. In the 1950s, Henry Orenstein was commissioned by the Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers of Sudbury to paint a mural for the local union hall, which was the centre of a broad-ranging cultural role of Mine Mill Local 598 in the Sudbury area. At that time, Mine Mill was in the midst of a series of raids by the United Steelworkers.

The file includes the completed program (including Pugh's program notes) for a concert by the resident musicians of the University of New Brunswick (Arlene Nimmons Pach, piano; Joseph Pach, violin; Paul Campbell, violin; Paul Pulford, cello) on January 29, 1989 at Memorial Hall, UNB, presented by the Creative Arts Committee of the Universities of New Brunswick and Saint Thomas. The concert featured Bloch's "Three Nocturnes" for piano, cello, and violin.

Laurie (Chairman of the Board of Governors), and Alexander Kerr's inaugural address. Also includes a list of delegates from other institutions.

The file also contains two letters from Michael R. The file also includes two programs for which Pugh wrote program notes: a concert presented by University of New Brunswick and Saint Thomas University Creative Arts society, "I Musici de Montreal" with Yuli Turovsky, conductor and cellist; and a Creative Arts concert by the resident musicians of UNB (January 29, 1989). Two other programs from concerts by the Liverpool Philharmonic Society are included as they were part of his research. The file also includes a letter to Anthony Pugh from "Don" (dated August 25, 1957 from Keele, England), which includes information on Hindemith.
