Some Blow Flutes

Series contains records related to the play Some Blow Flutes by Mary Vingoe. The play is about a teenage girl caring for her grandmother who has dementia. A reading of the play was presented at Scotiabank Theatre on May 27, 2018 as part of Eastern Front Theatre's 2018 Stages Theatre Festival. The play premiered with HomeFirst Theatre at the Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax in October 24-November 4, 2018. Some Blow Flutes was nominated for Outstanding New Play by a Nova Scotian at the 2019 Merritt Awards.

File contains Jenny Munday's script for Neptune Theatre's production of "It's a Wonderful Life." Munday played the role of Ma Bailey and Mrs. Davis. The script is highlighted and annotated by Munday.

Interview with Myra Kennedy on teaching by phone

File is an audio reel containing an interview with occupational therapy instructor Myra Kennedy about the teaching-by-phone strategy. In order to offer a graduate level course, Dalhousie's School of Occupational Therapy connected grad students by phone to professors at the Medical University of South Carolina. It was the first instance of a teaching-by-telephone course at an international level. The interview was conducted by Dalhousie's Angela Yazbek. The episode was recorded on November 17.
