Charles Douglas was Deputy Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing. Douglas also served as Assistant Agricultural Representative in Pictou, Agricultural Representative in Hants County, Assistant Director and, later, Director of Extension, and as Director of Livestock. Contract for the construction of the Head House to the greenhouse on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus

File contains the contract for the construction of the headhouse to greenhouse at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College between W.K. Murray (contractor) and Department of Public Works including modifications to specifications. The contract is dated November 5, 1913. Signed by "? Cobb" Architect; "E. H. Armstrong" Commissioner for Public Works and Mines; and "W.K. Murray" contractor.

There are letters written to the NSAC by Sharon McLean, Commissioner of the Village of Bible Hill, Chris d'Entremont, Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, R.J. (Dick/Richard) Huggard, Class of 1956, Chair of the NSAC Foundation, Ton Traves, President and Co-Chancellor of Dalhousie University, and the NSAC Students' Union. Also included was a template of Canada Posts invitation to a new stamp unveiling.

This file contains 57 pages of handwritten notes by Dr. Melville Cummings with recordings from 1920-1926. These papers consist of notes from faculty meetings from 1920-1924, notes regarding 1925 Farm course, and notes on student;s behavior and performance and progress in debate. Pages of note include one piece of paper defining wealth, and another titled " “T___(?) year debate, Dec 18, 1925” City life vs. country life.
