Charles Douglas was Deputy Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing. Douglas also served as Assistant Agricultural Representative in Pictou, Agricultural Representative in Hants County, Assistant Director and, later, Director of Extension, and as Director of Livestock. File contains the first term examination for the course 'Horticulture, small fruits', dated January 29, 1938. Also included is the examination for the senior 'English' course, dated January 1938. Both examinations were issued from Dr. Stan Curtis at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
