File is loosely organized into two sections: Nova Scotia beaver and Norway beaver. Both sections contain correspondence to and from government officials, biologists, academics, and industry consultants regarding research for and publication of Alexander Leighton's study on beaver mental characteristics. The Norway section also contains excerpts from Norwegian newspapers. There is also a set of handwritten notes titled "Outline for study of the Beaver: D. Cross & A.H. Leighton."

The file also includes drafts of Pugh's program notes, a newspaper clipping on a performance of Berlioz by the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, a postcard from "Kathy" to Pugh featuring a picture of Berlioz, and correspondence from Pugh to Professor Tom Lawrenson at the University of Lancaster about Berlioz's opera "Béatrice et Bénédict."

Newspaper clippings related to the Vietnam War and the 1972 presidential election

File contains newspaper clippings collected by Kenneth Leslie in 1972 and 1973, largely related to the 1972 United States presidential election. File contains clippings and facsimiles of articles written by Leslie's associates Hugh Hester and Morris Kominsky, among others. Articles tangentially related to the role of both religion and the Vietnam War in American political affairs during the run-up to the election. A few of the clippings contain notes and marginalia in Leslie's hand.

Henry Orenstein's records

Series consists of Henry Orenstein's materials regarding his professional activities, including photographs, negatives, sketches, programs, flyers, posters, postcards, slides, correspondence and other materials. Fonds contains several of Henry Orenstein's art pieces and sketches, including related to the "Sudbury Industrial Landscape" project. In the 1950s, Henry Orenstein was commissioned by the Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers of Sudbury to paint a mural for the local union hall, which was the centre of a broad-ranging cultural role of Mine Mill Local 598 in the Sudbury area. At that time, Mine Mill was in the midst of a series of raids by the United Steelworkers.
