The base plan includes the perimeter carrel seating and built-in seminar and office rooms; strips of paper illustrating the stack arrangement have been taped to this surface, and the plan is annotated by hand with the letters A, B, G and R.

Item is a conceptual drawing of the Kipling Room as designed for the Killam Library. The Kipling Room ended up remaining in the O.E. Smith wing of the Macdonald Library; it is possible that this design was used instead for the Morse Room, which was located behind the MacMechan Auditorium.

Fabric, wallpaper, carpet and other textile swatches are adhered to the presentation board.
