File contains four photographs related to the building, naming and opening of Nova Scotia Agricultural College residence Chapman House from 1966-1967. In the first photograph is shown individuals turning the sod for Chapman House, Nova Scotia Agricultural College: L-R: [D.L. Parker], Deputy minister, Hon. I.W. Akerley, Minister NSDAM [Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing], Dr. Wm Jenkins, Principal [NSAC]. Shown in the second photograph is Lyman T. Chapman, the college's 3rd principal, who was a special guest at the opening ceremony for Chapman House. In the photograph he is depicted reading the inscription on the plaque which is installed inside the main entrance. Photo by the Nova Scotia Information Service. The third photograph shows the construction of Chapman House. The fourth photograph is the opening of Chapman House.

Black Artists 1972

File consists of records related to the North American Black Artists exhibition organized by Dalhousie Art Gallery. The exhibition was shown at Dalhousie in November 1972.

Records consist of correspondence between Ernest Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and directors at Brockman Gallery, lists of slides, and letters to the artists requesting samples of artworks in slide form. Records also include four slides of artworks from Manuel Hughes (Professor Art Department, Florissant Valley Community College) and four from Benny Andrews.

Stephen Cruise

File consists of records related to the Craig Wright jewellery exhibition, held at Dalhousie Art Gallery from January 24 to March 6, 1976.

Records consist of invoices, insurance documents, a list of works and prices, interdepartmental memos, artist's statement, correspondence regarding insurance, a pamphlet, and handwritten thank you letters from Craig Wright to Mary Meagher (secretary, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and Bruce W. Ferguson (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery). Also included are photographs and slides of a few items exhibited; envelope annotated "Wright 263-9021 for Friday 19th" and date stamped December 11, 1975.

The photographs are stored in binders.
