File contains four documents related to David Murray's record collection. All of the record collection items contain Murray's location coding. File contains a handwritten 44-leaf notebook containing, alphabetically, Murray's "Record Library of Opera & Secular Music", a short handwritten addendum of record collection additions from 1936-37, a 49-leaf typescript variant collection list and a similar 49-leaf handwritten collection list with different location codes.
Item consists of a handwritten 41-entry list of short musical pieces compiled by David Murray, with the composer of each piece noted in the right-hand margin. The first 23 entries on the list are under the heading 1936-37, the following 18 entries are under the heading 1937-38, while the final unnumbered entry is under the heading Halifax--Jan. 39. One page of item contains 20 examples of humorous quotations written by Murray, possibly for use in future sketches. While unrelated to the musical list, the pages appear to have been removed sequentially from a notebook.
Item consists of a handwritten catalog of a personal record library of opera and secular music compiled by David Murray in the mid-to-late 1930s. The catalog is arranged in alphabetical order variably by category or musician, with associated records held in the collection listed underneath in a left-hand column (with corresponding storage location in the opposite column). The catalog was compiled in an address book.
Item consists of a two copies of an untitled 49-leaf (98 leaves in total) double-sided record collection catalog compiled by David Murray in the early- to mid-1940s. The first copy is a typescript, while the second copy is a handwritten version of the catalog. Each catalog is arranged alphabetically by performer, with an abbreviation of their operatic role or primary instrument. Murray also made additions in pencil to the typescript version of the catalog (vital statistics of the performer, the latest date being 1946), and additions to the catalog in ink. Each entry in the catalog contains a corresponding filing code.
Series consists of Dalhousie University’s MedIT card catalogue for their video collection and two ledgers (1967-1973, 1973-1979) that record photograph and video requests that MedIT processed for the Faculty of Medicine.
File consists of the card catalogue created and used by Dalhousie University's MedIT Department in their work with the Faculty of Medicine. The catalogue consists of a numerical and departmental index of the tapes created by MedIT, with cards in the numerical index cross-referenced in the departmental index and vice versa. Cards in the numerical index contain the title of the video, the tape number, the person who requested the video, and the person's department. Most cards also indicate whether the tape is an original, master, or dub, and, if relevant, another tape may be referenced (e.g., if the tape is a transfer of another tape). The card catalogue also includes an index of 1-inch video tapes, the locations of which are unknown, but most of which were transferred either to VHS or U-matic tapes included in the numerical index. The departmental index consists of cards organized by the department of the individual who requested the video from MedIT. The departments are mostly within the Faculty of Medicine, with a few requests from other faculties at Dalhousie University and from affiliated hospitals and organizations in Nova Scotia. These cards contain information relating to the date of the request, the individual and their department, the name and number of the video, and (optionally) its length and the amount charged for MedIT's services.
File contains a copy of the Pottersfield Press catalogue for Spring 1994, which includes an advertisement for Budge Wilson's book "Cassandra's Driftwood."

Fonds consists of manuscripts and proofs of Budge Wilson's books and short stories; correspondence with publishers, students, and teachers; publicity material; photocopies and clippings of reviews, profiles, and notices regarding awards and appearances; diaries; recorded radio interviews; and an assortment of other documents created and collected by the author throughout her writing career. The fonds also contains materials relating to the adaptation of Wilson's novel "Before Green Gables" into a Japanese animated television series.

Each entry indicates the type of service and provides the name and department of the person(s) who made the request, the date of the request, and other descriptive information.. Entries are listed chronologically and assigned unique numeric identifiers relating to the date of the request. The first volume includes a page that explains MedIT's filing system.
Fonds contains off-prints of Lawson's papers (1854-1894), a handwritten catalogue of Lawson's library, handwritten botanical observations (1891), a published program of a course of botany lectures, published testimonials (1874), and an obituary (1895).
Collection consists of videos and photographs that document the administrative and operational activities of Dalhousie University’s MedIT, providing media services to the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine. Series contains newspaper clippings, printouts from websites, and publisher's catalogues that feature reviews and promotional material about Budge Wilson's books. The series also contains drafts of press releases written by Budge Wilson to promote her books and newspaper articles that feature Budge Wilson and her writing career.
Fonds consists of Joan and Henry Orenstein's materials regarding their professional activities, including photographs, negatives, sketches, programs, flyers, posters, postcards, slides, correspondence and other materials. Fonds includes several photographs of Joan Orenstein acting, Henry Orenstein's art pieces and sketches, and Joan and Henry Orenstein's family photographic negatives.
File contains an envelope from Johnny Brown Dance Shoes and Supplies to the Lynch Shows, a list of practice records for tap dancing, a measurement chart for show clothing, and a catalogue for carnival or show materials to be purchased. Examples include dance belts, tap shoes, finger cymbals, theatrical makeup, and costume materials.
File contains one copy of the Spartacus Enterprises of Oregon catalogue, one copy of JT's Stockroom mail order catalogue, one copy of a retail price list of erotic accessories, and one copy of the 1993 Toronto Pink Pages directory of lesbian and gay businesses.
File contains RSVP Vacations queer travel brochures for 1996/1997 and 1998/1999, the 1997-1998 Halifax Pride Guide lesbian and gay directory; the Spring 2001 catalogue of books from Between the Lines publisher, the 2000 and 2001 catalogues of books from Harrington Park Press, one handout entitled The Relationship of Homophobia to Other Forms of Oppression, and one news clipping about actor Ryan Idol.
