Maritime Science Fiction Festival 1997 program books and other material

File contains two copies of a program book from the 1997 Maritime Science Fiction Festival and one copy of the event schedule.

The file also contains a copy of a registration form for the Official International Dave Prowse Fan Club. A feature on Dave Prowse can be found on pages 10 and 11 of the the program book.

The file also contains a pamphlet on the art of puppetry and television production with Terry Angus. Terry Angus presented at the festival and a biography can be found on page 20 of the program book.

File contains three pages of notes about costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1990 production of Shakespeare's Women. The notes are written on lined notebook paper. There are several small triangular fabric swatches taped to the notes. The notes are taped inside the cover of a pad of paper which contains all of Doyle's costume sketches from the production.

Item is a watercolour, pastel, and pencil sketch of a costume and set design for Dalhousie Theatre's 1991 production of The Possibilities. The sketch is for a scene (probably scene 2 or 11), "Only Some Can Take the Strain." The sketch shows one figure with a feathered cap and clear visor, another male figure pulling a cart, and a third female figure with spiky hair.

Correspondence includes letters to, from, and about Renton and are primarily theatre-related. The scripts were accumulated by Renton throughout his career as an actor, director, and producer. The fonds also includes photographs and slides of numerous theatrical productions.
