Dawson, about the area around Jacob Street in downtown Halifax, bulldozed to make way for the Scotia Square project (the Jacob Street area was deemed a waterfront slum). The transcripts are from interviewees #2, #5, #21, #27, #34, #88, #90, #103, #104, #117, #118, #121, and #128; people from the Halifax department of welfare; and other unidentified interviewees. The file also contains photocopies of newspaper articles.

The file also contains memorandums from the Institute of Public Affairs; research diaries and notes about interviews; a letter template; an invitation list and list of attendees for a meeting for the Africville relocation study; classification categories for Africville Typology; and a blank questionnaire for the study.
