File consists of records relating to the exhibition 'On the water's edge', consisting of facsimiles of 17th and 18th century Dutch drawings from the collection of the Teylers Museum, Haarlem. The exhibition was presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery in April 1971.
Records consist mainly of correspondence between Ernest Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and staff of the Royal Netherlands Embassy, whom the exhibition was circulated through.
