Biographical history

Edward Miller (1825-1901) was a correspondent of J.A. Froude, the historian, novelist, biographer, and editor of Fraser's Magazine (1861-1874). He was quite likely the Reverend Edward Miller, a writer, editor, and one-time fellow and tutor of New College, Oxford who, like Froude, published essays in The Contemporary Review.
