Series contains materials related to the operations of the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Youth Project, a community support group founded in Halifax in 1993. The Youth Project is a community space that provides free counselling, leadership opportunities, and other supports for members of the LGBTQ+ community under the age of 25. Materials include retreat planning materials, budgets, meeting notes, educational resources, reports, policies and procedures documents, correspondence, and clippings.

Fond contains one series of posters, banners, and flags produced or collected by GALA for use in Pride marches and parades, as well as other political demonstrations, GALA meetings, and dances, or relating to event held at Rumours bar. Fonds also contains posters for LGBT-related events in Halifax, posters for LGBT films, posters encouraging safe-sex practices and political activism, as well as Pride Guide mockups from 1996 and 1998.

The leather patches on the back, which read "Mr Atlantic Leather 99", were made from the sash awarded to Don Murchy for winning the M.A.C. Leather competition in 1999. File contains four VHS tapes containing media coverage of Lesbian and Gay Rights Nova Scotia [LGRNS] and their work to protect sexual orientation under the Human Rights Act in Nova Scotia. Media coverage also includes LGRNS opposition to Barkhat Khokhar, a member of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission who expressed homophobic and misogynistic views. Footage from these tapes has been copied onto a DVD-R disc which is also located in this file.
